Driven by tightening environmental policies and industrial upgrading, the relocation of surface treatment enterprises in the Pearl River Delta region into industrial parks has transitioned from policy guidance to full-scale implementation. This article reviews the policy requirements, current progress, and major industrial park distribution for electroplating and surface treatment enterprises in Guangdong. Drawing on practical cases from Huizhou Boluo, Foshan Jun'an, and Zhaoqing Gaoyao, it summarizes pragmatic experience in site selection assessment, cost estimation, production transition, and policy utilization, providing a reference for surface treatment enterprises facing relocation decisions.
